For centuries, the biblical narrative has been used as a tool of colonization rather than liberation. The true presence of Black people in Scripture has been hidden, torn out, whitewashed, and replaced with false images and narratives.

Legacy of Silence exists to uncover what was buried, to speak what was silenced, and to return the truth to the people it was taken from.

We challenge whitewashed theology and reclaim the biblical identities that were stripped from our ancestors.

The Bible doesn’t belong to any one race or nation, but the truth within it has been twisted to serve power, not people.
